Directional Bore Machine &
Loop Field
To date, installed over 8850 tons
- loops ranging from 200’ to 600’ in length.
CUSTOMERS: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Schools, Churches.
.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Directional bore machine drills into the ground
- Once the rod hits 15’ depth, the bore operator drills straight out at least 200’
- The rod has a sonde which sends out a signal
- The locate operator detects signal with a locator device & directs drill
operator in appropriate direction
- Once destination
is reached, the rod pops up out of the ground
- The piping
is connected to the reamer
- Bore machine pulls back
the pipe
- Once u-bend is in place, bore machine
is disconnected from pipe
- The loop
is then grouted
