INFORMATION

BASIC 3 STEP PROCESS:
1.     Drill loops/wells & stub-out (if necessary)
2.     Header/manifold loops
3.     Purge entire system
     §         Purge tags put on valves
     §         Shows what type of product is in the system
     §         Shows the percentage of product
     §         A-One label put on heat pump for reference 
  • Once project is complete, crew draws loop or well field map
    • Map is sent to installer or owner
  • Crews have 35 combined years with the company

HOMEOWNERS CHECKLIST

  • Find reputable inside installer
    • Ask for credentials & referrals
    • Don't have an installer, contact us for referrals
    • A-One only does the outside loop installations

  • Get your home sized
    • This is necessary for new or retro-fits
    • Sizing your home determines the correct tonnage for your heat pump & loops
    • Most companies charge per ton
    • Get your blue prints, square footage, window sizes, insulation, etc. to your installer
    • Your HVAC installer will have your home sized

  • Rebates
    • Contact your power company
    • Most power companies offer rebates for geothermal installations, insulation, windows, thermostats, etc.

  • Tax Incentives
    • Effective 1/1/2008, ENERGY STAR Geothermal Heat Pumps may qualify for a 30% tax credit
